Christopher Ward C60 Mk2 Trident Pro 600

The original C60 Trident Pro was launched in 2009 and was an instant hit (you can read the story in my Blog post here). 2015 saw the introduction of the Mk2 C60. The most significant update was the introduction of the ceramic bezel (instead of painted aluminium), which was on another planet in terms of scratch resistance.

The watch for sale here is a Feb 2015 model, making it one fo the first Mk2 C60s sold - the serial number is a relatively low 296. It features the CHR. Ward logo at 12 o’clock on the face. In early 2017 the logo was changed to the current version and was moved to 9 o’clock on most models. The current CW logo was used on Mk2 faces between 2017 and 2019, when the Mk3 model was introduced.

As time has gone on, these Mk2 models (specially those with red and green bezels) have been gathering an increasing band of followers who prefer the original C60 case design, the previous logo and the wave dial. We’re getting to the point now where nice Mk2 models are selling at the same or higher prices than used Mk3s.

Condition

The head is in fantastic condition - it looks more like a one year old watch than a seven year old! The Sapphire and bezel are pristine and the case only has the very faintest of blemishes from light use.

The CW bracelet is a Mk1 with circular CW logo and is in great condition - just minor marks on the links and the clasp has had some re-brushing, so it’s looking very clean. They originally come with six removable links - this one has four still fitted, one spare and one lost. The bracelet has a pop-out diver’s extension and the micro adjustment is carried out by moving the spring bar between different holes (as opposed to the Mk2 bracelet which has the ratchet style micro adjustment).

Currently sized for approx. 8in wrist. If you need it adjusted, let me know and I can do that for you before I ship it.

On the timegrapher it’s keeping near perfect time at -1sec per day and it’s offered as a ‘full' set’ box and papers.
