Ward Hoard:
Discover your perfect next watch
Who we are
Welcome to our world! We are Ward Hoard, a dedicated home for pre‑owned Christopher Ward watches.
What started as a passion has become one of the most trusted places to buy CW pieces online. We curate every watch carefully, ensure honest condition reporting and photograph each model with the detail we’d want if we were buying it ourselves.
Our goal is simple - to make buying a pre‑owned CW as easy and enjoyable as it can be.
Whether you are dipping your toe into the wonderful world of watches, hunting a discontinued classic, upgrading a daily wearer, or adding something special to your collection, you’ll find it here — accurately described, properly inspected and ready to wear.
We release new stock to our mailing list first. Remaining items are added to the site shortly after.
We also have a sister site (coming soon) - the Second Hand Watch Collective, where you can discover brands other than CW.

CHRISTOPHER WARDC60 Trident Mk 3 Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition
Introduction
Released in March 2021, the C60 Trident Mk 3 Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition (500 pieces) uses the C60 Mk 3 bronze Light-catcher™ case, an alloy made from copper and tin. Bronze ages beautifully, developing a unique patina that increases over time. It’s also saltwater-resistant, so ideal for swimming or diving.
Each ‘ombré’ dial, crafted in aged bronze, has been individually ‘distressed’ by hand, to give an aged, worn look. Due to the process employed, no one dial is ever the same as another.
This one is 424 out of 500.
Warranty
It’s a September 2021 watch so comes with the manufacturer’s warranty to September 2026.
Strap options
It comes with the purposely distressed oak vintage leather strap. This is a good one (many of them had the black pretty much all flake off) - it has been properly treated and looks distressed without being overkill.
Discount of £40 head only, swap out for a brand new vintage brown leather strap at no cost difference.
Condition:
The watch is in great condition - it has been used, but nothing of note in respect of marks, scratches or scuffs.
On the Timegrapher it’s keeping time at 10sec per day.
It comes boxed with polishing cloth, COSC Certificate and the owner’s manual and warranty card. Some degradation to the outside of the box.

Diameter: 42mm
Height: 13.4mm

Christopher Ward C1 Bel Canto Limited Edition
Introduction
I’ve followed CW for many years now and have watched many new releases. None has had the reception of the all new Limited Edition C1 Bel Canto which sold all 300 pieces in a matter of hours - pretty impressive stuff for a watch priced near the top end of the CW scale! I suspect even CW were caught a little by surprise because they hastily released the green version the next day. That too, sold out in a matter of hours on pre-orders!
So what is the Bel Canto? The short answer is it’s a Titanium-cased special which chimes on the hour - a pretty unusual feature for a mechanical watch, I’m sure you’ll agree. The chime is switched on and off with a simple press of the button on the bottom right.
It was released to great acclaim and won the Petite Aiguille Category of The Grand Prix D’horlogerie De Genève (GPHG) - a truly prestigious award.
The Bel Canto Dragonfly uses a dial colour first seen on the C63 Sealander GMT. It’s gorgeous colour. This model was launched with limited availability with orders limited to CW showrooms and events.
Condition and warranty
It’s a one owner watch that is in great condition. It comes with box, manual, warranty booklet and card, polishing cloth. It comes with on the titanium bracelet that is in great condition (with all spare links) as well as an extra dragonfly blue rubber strap with correct ti buckle.
It has the CW warranty valid to October 2029.
Timekeeping is great at -3 or 4 spd on the timegrapher.
