Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro COSC SH21 Limited Edition

Introduction

This 300 piece limited edition watch might look similar to the regular Pro 600, but under the hood is Christopher Ward’s remarkable in-house SH21 movement, with its 120 hour (5-day) power reserve.

On the outside there are a few visual clues which give it away as the ‘special one’: the most obvious is the face with its “5 day Chronometer” marking (the Chronometer part indicating it is a COSC certified watch). Less obvious is the date window being a little further over to the right than the regular 600. Finally it’s the case back, which is taller to make the room required to house the SH21’s rotor - not to mention the Chronometer Calibre SH21 wording as the final giveaway!

The SH21 heart means the watch head stands 15.5mm high - a fairly tall watch, but the tapered case back helps sink a little of that height into your wrist. The standard model stands at 13.3mm, in case you were wondering.

This model was launched in early 2015 and was retired by the end of 2018, by which time the price had risen from £1,500 to £1,830 for the bracelet model. This particular watch is a November 2015 watch

Warranty

it comes with a three month Ward Hoard warranty.

Strap

It’s fitted with the original CW Stainless bracelet with polished centre links.

Other options:

1) Head only - discount of £100

2) Replaced with the latest CW bracelet (brand new) with brushed centre links, quick release spring bars, ratchet adjustment - increase of £50

3) Replaced with a brand new CW hybrid, leather or tide - discount of £50

Condition

It’s in extremely good condition having only had occasional wrist time. There is a light scratch on one of the lugs. Timekeeping is okay at around +25 seconds per day.

Supplied in a deluxe wooden case with user book, COSC certificate and unused polishing cloth in great condition.
