Christopher Ward C63 Sealander White Automatic

Introduction

CW introduced the Sealander range in April 2021 to great acclaim. It was really missing a sports watch, and this fitted the bill perfectly. It was voted Christopher Ward Forum Watch of the Year 2021.

It features a polished lacquer dial – and was initially available in just black or white – and top-brushed, diamond-polished indices filled with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 BL C1. The hand-set, modelled on those from the C60 Trident Pro 600, is also coated with lume, and the date window is at 6 o'clock.

Later iterations included a 39mm blue version as well as smaller 36mm versions and colours. The applied twin flags logo was introduced relatively recently.

Warranty

This is a March 2024 watch, so the transferable movement warranty is valid to March 2029.

Strap options

It comes on a brand new CW black hybrid strap. Other options are to exchange for a:

• Brand new bracelet: (additional £125)

• CW vintage oak leather strap (no change)

• Head only (discount of £40).

Condition

Unmarked condition - could pass for new.

On the timegrapher it’s keeping good time at +10 seconds per day.

Offered as a full set including box, owner’s manual, unused polishing cloth, warranty booklet and card.
