Christopher Ward C63 Sealander Hunter Green Automatic

Introduction

CW introduced the Sealander range in April 2021 to great acclaim. It was really missing a sports watch, and this fitted the bill perfectly. It was voted Christopher Ward Forum Watch of the Year 2021.

It features a polished lacquer dial – and was initially available in just black or white – and top-brushed, diamond-polished indices filled with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 BL C1. The hand-set, modelled on those from the C60 Trident Pro 600, is also coated with lume, and the date window is at 6 o'clock.

Later iterations included a 39mm blue version and this hunter green model as well as smaller 36mm versions and colours.

The ‘hunter-green’ dial has been given a hand-distressed ‘ombré’ or hand scratched finish that makes each watch unique. It looks superb!

Warranty

This is a September 2023 watch, so the transferable movement warranty is valid to September 2028.

Strap options

It comes on a brand new CW tan vintage oak leather strap. Other options are:

• Exchange for a lightly used bracelet: (additional £120)

• Exchange for a CW tide or hybrid strap (no change in price)

• Head only (discount of £40).

Condition

Lovely condition - no issues to report.

On the timegrapher it’s keeping good time at + 9 seconds per day.
