Christopher Ward C60 Concept

Introduction

A simply stunning watch. In my view, it isn’t just the pinnacle of the C60 family, but the pinnacle of whole Christopher Ward catalogue! It’s CW’s first skeleton watch. It was at the time the most expensive watch they’ve ever made. But if you look at what you get, it’s actually cheap! How many skeletonised, Titanium, 120 hour reserve, COSC certified, 300m dive watches have you seen for this kind of money? Imagine the price tag if it had an Omega or Audemars logo on the face instead of a CW twin flag?! This is the watch-making equivalent of Swindon Town knocking Man City out of the FA cup with a 10-0 scoreline - they’ve smashed it!

It’s the effort that goes into this watch that makes it look so good. Each chamfer takes six hours of hand polishing to get just right. The latest Twelve Ti skeleton watches are all machine finished which makes the Concept a cut above the those. I love the way that you can see the spring contract when you wind it, and light shines right through the movement.

It was launched in November 2021 as a limited run of 210 watches and sold out in a matter of weeks - long before CW had actually made all 210 watches.

Condition

Offered in superb condition - I have bought it from the original owner who has worn it very sparingly.

It comes with both the titanium bracelet (in excellent condition) as well as the blue/orange hybrid strap with titanium buckle.

It’s keeping COSC time at -4spd on the timegrapher.

It’s a December 2021 watch (23/12/21 to be exact!), so the CW warranty is valid until December 2026.

It comes boxed with user manual, warranty card and polishing cloth. It also comes with its COSC certificate and original invoice as well as the unopened, sealed jigsaw that they originally came with.
