Christopher Ward C11 MSL Chronograph

Introduction

The C11 is one of a few ‘square’ watches produced by Christopher Ward over the years - the others are the C13/C15 Henley from 2008 and a brief appearance from the C5 Malvern Slim Square in 2016/17.

The C11 Chronograph (quartz) for sale here is one of the two C11 launch models and is one of the first to wear the then ‘new’ CHR. WARD logo (the other C11 launch watch was the non-chrono automatic). The C11s arrived in 2011, were well received and started a long line of aviation and dive style C11 model variations. The chronograph model cost £400 for the PVD black version (£350 in silver) when it was available between 2011 and 2014 and the auto model cost £500/£450 at launch, rising £50 by the time of its retirement.

These chronos have become pretty collectable over the years and are becoming increasing difficult to come by, especially in nice condition - so it’s not like there’s ever a selection to choose from!

Warranty

Comes with a three month Ward Hoard warranty.

Strap options

It comes on a CW Black Tiber leather strap that is used, but has plenty of life in it. These straps tend to develop a great patina over time, and this one is no exception.

Other options - head only, discount of £30,

exchange for a brand new vintage oak leather strap - increase of £10.

Condition

The head is in very good overall condition. It’s a used watch, so it has picked up a few light marks here and there over the years.

Supplied in its inner and outer case including owner’s book (with Certificate of Authenticity), covering letter and unused polishing cloth.
