CHRISTOPHER WARD C3 GT CHRONOGRAPH

The C3 goes back, way back, to 2005 when CW had just two launch models: the C5 auto and the C3 chronograph quartz. The watch for sale in this listing takes the C3 Mk3 as its base and adds a decidedly motorsport-inspired face design. It was launched in May 2018 with either green, white or blue face. The original selling price when available was £395 on leather or £500 on the mesh bracelet.

This particular white face model was sold in May 2021, making it one of the last ones sold. The transferable movement warranty is valid to May 2026.

Few would disagree when I say that the C3 got better with each release. By the time they reached the Mk3 the pushers had been refined to give a lovely action - a very nice quality ‘thunk’ when they’re pressed, similar to that of a quality auto. The pearly silver/white metallic dial catches and reflects any available light.

Strap

It’s currently on an unbranded blue leather rally-style strap. Also included is a black rubber strap with a similar texture as the CW Tropic rubber strap.

If you’d rather have it on a CW stainless mesh bracelet I can fit a brand new one instead for an additional £125 (the CW price is £175, available here).

Condition
This is a used watch in fantastic condition. There’s just the occasional very light blemish on the watch head to indicate that it’s been worn - no specific dings or scratches to report.

The leather and rubber straps are in almost new condition.

Supplied as a full set box and papers including warranty card, owner’s book and polish cloth - note a spall tape repair to the cardboard cloth wallet.
