SOLD - C60 Trident Pro 600 Mk2.5 red bezel 38mm archive find (2020)
Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600 Mk2 38mm
With the launch the C60 Mk2 in mid 2015 we saw the first CW to have a highly scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. Just over a year later CW introduced its then new (now current) logo positioned at 9 o’clock - for sale here is one of those later Mk2 watches which I call the Mk2.5. By the time this model was retired in 2019, the cost of this non-bracelet model was £660 - the equivalent current Mk3 model costs £740.
This particular model is one of the very last they sold, having surfaced as an archive find in July 2020 - so the transferable movement warranty is valid until July 2024 (or July 2025 if serviced by CW between 3 and 4 years old).
Condition
The time-keeping is near-perfect: registering +1sec per day on the timegrapher, so it would have smashed a COSC certification, had this been a COSC model (which it isn’t).
It was sold to me by CW as being in ‘nearly new’ condition and that description is bang on. The watch is in perfect condition apart from a couple of very light marks on the back - on a lug and on the case, both highlighted in the relevant photo. They look worse in the photo, you actually struggle to see them in the flesh.
It’s not been worn during my ownership.
It’s fitted with a CW Hybrid rubber strap in brand new condition.
Supplied as a ‘full set’ in the current bamboo case with, warranty card, unused polishing cloth and a letter explaining it’s a historic model, so hard copies of the user book had run out and instead directing you to the PDF version on the CW website.
