Christopher Ward C60 Mk2 Trident Pro Titanium Version 1 (2019)

The Mk2 C60 Trident Pro 600 was the first C60 to be made available with a Titanium case. There were two types, the Version 1 model you see here, which is unofficially known as the ‘stealth’, thanks to its black hands on black face design - the V1 comes in the raw Titanium finish. The Version 2 has a black case and white hands/markers, making it look a bit more conventional to look at.

The two titanium models were launched in Jan 2016, with the leather or rubber strap models costing £750 and the Titanium bracelet models a cool £1,000. The early models featured CHR. WARD logo placed at 12 o’clock, but it didn’t take long for the face to be updated with the current CW logo, placed at 9 o’clock. Mk2 Titaniums were retired in mid 2019. The watch for sale here is a May 2019, making it one of the younger ones you’ll find. The movement warranty is valid until May 2024.

Weight
Titanium C60 heads weigh 76g. The steel 43mm is nearly 40% heavier at 104g. But it’s the bracelets which really highlight the weight difference: my scales (which round to the nearest 5g) make the Titanium bracelet 60g, whereas the steel one is almost 70% heaver at 100g!

Straps
It’s fitted with the original CW titanium bracelet with its user-friendly ratchet micro-adjustment mechanism.

Alternatively, I can supply it on a brand new, black leather strap with grey stitching and lining. It has quick-release spring bars and a Titanium CHR. WARD signed sport tang buckle.

Condition
It’s a used watch, so there are very light signs of use. There are a few very light hairlines on the case which are impossible for me to photograph. The bracelet is in very good condition, with just the usual light desk-diving marks you’d expect from a lightly used watch. Overall, I’d say it’s extremely good, 9.5 out of 10.
