Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600 Vintage Mk2 38mm

With the launch the C60 Mk2 in mid 2015 we saw several firsts. It was the first CW to have a (highly scratch resistant) ceramic bezel and it was also the first C60 to be available in a ‘vintage’ style, with the gloss black bezel being switched for matte, the hands/hour batons receiving a creamy finish (instead of the usual white) and finally the leather straps getting the vintage finishing treatment.

The C60 Vintage models proved to be pretty popular, paving the way for a new line of C65 Trident Classic Vintage and C65 Trident Vintage Mk2 models.

The watch we have for sale is based on the original Mk2 C60 Vintage, but was updated by CW in 2017 to feature the new (current) CW logo at 9 o’clock on the face - so I call in the Mk2.5.

I bought this particular watch direct from CW in July 2020, so it’s likely one of the last (and youngest) of this model to leave Park Street. The transferable movement warranty is valid until July 2025. When they were available from CW, the selling price was £640 on leather, or £750 on a bracelet.

Condition
I bought this watch as being in ‘nearly new’ condition. Under close inspection you can see a very feint blemish to the left side of the case. It’s never been on a wrist during my ownership and is still in exactly the same condition it left CW - which is 99% perfect.

As you can see from the timegrapher photograph, it’s keeping near perfect time, well within COSC specifications.

It comes in the latest CW bamboo case and includes the warranty card, polishing cloth and a letter explaining this model had been retired at the time of sale, so no hard copy user guides were available. Instead it directs you to the PDF version on their website, link below.
