Christopher Ward C11 MSL Vintage stainless
The aviation style C11 MSL (mean sea level) was cleared for takeoff in 2011 with the PVD-coated ‘black manta’. In 2012, at the same time as the CHR. WARD logo’s introduction, the C11 range exploded with silver and black case MSLs, Vintage marker MSLs, a quartz chronograph and the popular C11 Makaira dive range.
The watch in this listing is a stainless finish, vintage marker, self-winding automatic model. It dates from March 2015, which is when C11 MSLs were retired, so it’s one of the younger ones.
It’s fitted with a Super Engineer Type II - a sturdy beast of a bracelet which sells for around £65 on its own. I can switch it for a leather strap if the bracelet isn’t your cup of tea - I’ve left it on there as that’s how I bought the watch and I thought it works quite well.
Condition
The bracelet is brand new, the watch head is in very good used condition - the original protective vinyl sticker is still in place on the case back. It’s coming up for nearly six years old and has seen rotated use as part of a collection, so it has picked up a few minor marks in the time. The ‘worst’ is on the bezel at about 1 o’clock - it’s invisible in some lights and there in others. Other than that, it’s just occasional very light blemishes in keeping with a well looked after, used watch.
Presented in an ‘optional extra’ Deluxe wooden case along with covering letter, unused polishing cloth and owner’s book with Certificate of Authenticity.

Final Notes
Having followed CW for many years, I’ve observed a few of instances of crowns being pulled out/off of C11 MSLs. So it’s advised to take extra care when pulling the crown out to the time-adjusting position three.
