CHRISTOPHER WARD C65 TRIDENT GMT

When Christopher Ward launched the retro style C65 Trident Diver in 2018 they will have hoped it was a success, but I doubt they were expecting it to be quite as successful as it has been. It’s been a great seller and has already spawned many different iterations.

The watch for sale here is a black-faced GMT model - which seem to come up a lot less often than the more popular/common blue edition. If you’re not familiar with GMT watches, they feature an additional hour hand which takes 24 hours to complete one rotation of the dial - making it a perfect international travel partner. This is because you can set the regular hands to your local time and the 24h GMT hand to ‘home’, so you can instantly see the time and home and avoid accidentally calling your partner at 3 in the morning to say “hi”! By rotating the bezel, and therefore moving ‘midnight’ to elsewhere on the dial, you can create a third time zone.

This is a December 2018 watch, so the transferable movement warranty is valid until Dec 2023.

Strap
If you’d rather have it on a CW tan brown leather rubber strap I can reduce the price by £100.

Condition:
This watch is in fantastic condition - clearly had very little wrist time.

The bracelet has picked up a few light marks including on the clasp as you’d expect, but I’d say it’s still in superb condition.

It’s in perfect working order and keeping perfect time at +/-0sec per day (CW specify +/-20sec).

It a ‘full set’ watch and comes in its original box with user book/certificate of authenticity, polishing cloth, bracelet links and a copy of CW’s standard covering letter.
