Christopher Ward C60 Trident 300 43mm

The Mk1 C60 Trident hit the watch world in 2009, but it was only available with an automatic movement. It wasn’t until 2015 and the arrival or the Mk2 Trident, that Christopher Ward introduced their first Quartz C60 model, which they named the Trident 300, after its 300m water depth rating (not to be confused with the new Mk3 C60 Trident 300 Pro, which is an auto!).

This is a 2020 watch which wears the current CW logo which was introduced in 2017 to replace the previous CHR. WARD version.

Being a quartz model, it doesn’t have the taller, tapered case back of its automatic cousin, so it sits a little lower on the wrist. For me, it actually sits much better on my 19cm wrist than the autos do!

Like the Mk1 C60s, the Mk3 also doesn’t have a quartz model available, so this watch is one of the last quartz C60 Tridents ever sold by CW.

This watch dates from April 2020, so the transferable movement warranty is valid until April 2025.

Condition

It’s been worn once, but is still absolutely unmarked and is in as new condition. With CW stating a few years ago that they’re no longer going to make quartz watches, as well as being one of the very last sold, this will be one of the very last still in new condition.

It is fitted with a Maratac composite rubber strap.

Supplied as a full set including original bamboo case with user manual, warranty card and polishing cloth.
