CHRISTOPHER WARD C60 APEX LIMITED EDITION

Introduction

Released in September 2019, the C60 Apex follows the C7 Apex as the second in a series of semi-skeletonised watches. CW only made 100 C60 Apex models - a bold step up from the 50 C7 Apexes. This watch celebrates the fifth anniversary of the release of Calibre SH21, the first commercially viable movement by a British brand in 50 years. With an architectural aesthetic revealing as much of SH21 as possible - assisted by the inclusion of an exhibition case back in Christopher Ward's dive range for the first time - this 100-piece limited edition carries a water rating of 300m.

By June 2020 they were all sold… or were they?! The piece for sale here was actually held back until in January 2021 - a classic CW ‘archive find’, which means it has a CW warranty through to January 2026.

These don’t come up on the open market all that often - they are an extremely collectible piece and they tend to stay in people’s collections for a while.

And for good reason - it’s a fabulous shade of blue punctuated with the attention grabbing orange on the power reserve mechanism and bezel.

Condition

The watch is in fabulous condition - can’t see a mark on it. Supplied as a ‘full set’ including bamboo case, owner’s book, warranty card, COSC certificate and unused polishing cloth. The bracelet is also in fabulous condition and still has the plastic on the clasp.
