Christopher Ward C65 Super Compressor Deep Blue

Introduction

The C65 Super Compressor is the first genuine super compressor diving watch in 50 years. With every metre you descend, its ingenious mechanism increases water-resistance. Turn it over, and the exhibition caseback – a first for a super compressor – shows you the all-important compression spring and diving-bell logo. Slim on the wrist, retro in design, the C65 Super Compressor is a mid-century professional diving instrument.

Lovely retro style diver with stunning sun-burst style face, internal rotating bezel and huge exhibition case back showcasing the movement and compression ring. The super compressor mechanism is utterly pointless, but sheer genius at the same time.

This is my favourite colour of the SC - I have no idea why they discontinued this particular colour. I have exactly this same model in my own personal collection - suffice to say I’m a fan. It’s the watch that I take on holiday!

Warranty

Transferable CW movement warranty valid to January 2027.

Strap

Currently fitted with a brand new blue hybrid strap (the configuration I have mine on).

Exchange for another hybrid, leather or tropic rubber.

Switch to a lightly used, or brand new bracelet - Increase of £100 or £120 respectively.

Head only (no strap at all) - Discount of £40.

Condition

Good used condition with a couple of light marks.

When I tested it on the timegrapher, it was miles out, so it has gone back to CW to be regulated. It should be back with me in March 2025.
