Christopher Ward C65 Dartmouth Series 1 (41mm)

Introduction

The ‘public’ military models started with a batch of C65s in 2019. They were the Dartmouth (named after the Royal Naval School), the Cranwell (named after the RAF College) and the Sandhurst (named after the The Royal Military Academy where army officers are trained).

In August 2020 CW added a fourth military model, the Lympstone. And in 2021 the Colchester joined the party (developed for and in conjunction with the British Army's Parachute Regiment).

This is a brand new Series 1 Dartmouth, that is an archive find - probably the youngest available as only the series 2 is now available. A screw in crown was introduced during the Series 1 production and this has the screw-in crown.

Warranty

The warranty card is dated 10 January 2024, so it is covered under CW’s transferrable warranty to January 2029.

Condition

Sold as nearly new, but can’t see a mark on it.

Perfect working order. Keeping COSC time at -4spd

Comes in the original CW bamboo case with booklet containing the warranty card (dated 10 January 2024) and polishing cloth. Please note that it does not come with the manual, but this is available online, see below for details. It also does not come with the COSC certificate - most likely the reason it was not sold originally.

Strap options

It is fitted with a brand new CW canvas webbing strap.

Priced with the strap other options are:

• Exchange for another brand new strap (hybrid, tide or leather)

• Without a strap: discount of £45.
