Christopher Ward C8 Pilot Revival

Introduction

A few years ago Christopher Ward moved from making aviation inspired watches to making a more broad range of military watches. Before that point, CW had a well established history of making aviation watches starting with 2006’s C5 Malvern Aviator, which was based on CW’s first ever watch, the C5 Malvern. Their next aviator was… the C8, which was first introduced in 2008 and remained part of the range until early 2021 when the last few C8 Power Reserves were sold in early.

In 2022, CW found some old cases and released a ‘revival’ Limited edition run of C8s, with the old logo and an open casebook.

This one is particularly special - it’s the DLC case, which looks fabulous and it is numbered 1 of 50 - the first one off the production line.

Warranty

Comes with warranty card dated January 2022 - manufacturer’s warranty through to January 2027.

Strap

Fitted with the CW black leather strap which has quick-release spring bars and a matching DLC buckle.

Condition

It’s in immaculate condition as you’d expect being a relatively new watch. The strap is in great shape, with only the lightest signs of wear. The watch head is in even better condition - almost new.
