Christopher Ward C63 Sealander Blue Automatic

Introduction

CW introduced the Sealander range in April 2021 to great acclaim. It was really missing a sports watch, and this fitted the bill perfectly. It was voted Christopher Ward Forum Watch of the Year 2021.

It features a polished lacquer dial – and was initially available in just black or white – and top-brushed, diamond-polished indices filled with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 BL C1. The hand-set, modelled on those from the C60 Trident Pro 600, is also coated with lume, and the date window is at 6 o'clock.

Later iterations included this 39mm blue version and a hunter green model as well as smaller 36mm versions and colours.

This example is the very latest with the twin flags applied logo (i.e. solid, raised logo on the dial). It looks superb!

Warranty

This is a February 2024 watch, so the transferable movement warranty is valid to February 2029.

Strap options

It comes on a CW blue hybrid strap that looks brand new. Other options are:

• Exchange for a lightly used bracelet: (additional £120)

• Exchange for a CW tide or leather strap (no change in price)

• Head only (discount of £40).

Condition

Very good condition - lightly used.

On the timegrapher it’s keeping pretty respectable time at +8 seconds per day.

Offered as a full set including box, owner’s manual, polishing cloth, invoice, warranty booklet and card.
