Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600 Mk2 43mm

With the launch the C60 Mk2 in mid 2015 we saw the first CW to have a highly scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. In doing so, CW’s best-selling watch took a huge jump up in terms of quality and desirability.

You sometimes see Mk1 and Mk2 C60s referred to as 42mm. That’s because CW mistakenly quoted them as being 42mm in diameter in the earlier days, but they’re actually 43mm.

The watch for sale here is one of the original Mk2 C60 Trident Pro 600s and dates from January 2016. You can tell it apart from the later Mk2s because it has the earlier (and some argue more desirable) ‘CHR. WARD’ logo rather than the later/current ‘Christopher Ward’ one.

Warranty

As a January 2016 watch, the five year CW warranty has expired, so it comes with a three month Ward Hoard warranty.

Strap

Fitted with an original CW bracelet - which is in pretty good condition. It does have the usual marks on the clasp.

• Fitted with a brand new CW leather or hybrid strap: discount of £60

• Without any strap: discount of £100.

Condition

It’s in extremely good used condition with just minimal signs of use.

The bracelet clasp looks like it’s been polished up a little at some point, but you could always return that to its original brushed look with a brief go on a brushing pad.

The time-keeping is approx +16 sec per day, so still inside the +/-20sec specified by CW.

Supplied as a full set including original inner and outer boxes, user book with Certificate of Authenticity and a copy of the standard CW covering letter of the time.
