CHRISTOPHER WARD C3 GT CHRONOGRAPH
Introduction
The C3 goes back, way back, to 2005 when CW had just two launch models: the C5 auto and the C3 chronograph quartz. The watch for sale in this listing takes the C3 Mk3 as its base and adds a decidedly motorsport-inspired face design. It was launched in May 2018 with either green, white or blue face.
This particular blue face model was retired in 2019 (the selling price at the time was £395 for leather and £500 on a bracelet). This is an archive find - released in July 2024, one of the very last available.
Few would disagree when I say that the C3 got better with each release. By the time they reached the Mk3 the pushers had been refined to give a lovely action - a very nice quality ‘thunk’ when they’re pressed!
Warranty
It comes with a full five year CW warranty up to July 2029.
Strap
It’s currently on a brand new CW vintage oak strap.
Other options are
head only, discount of £40.
Alternative brand new hybrid or tide strap, no cost change.
Condition
The watch was sold as ‘nearly new’, but it looks brand new to me, I can’t see a mark on it.
Supplied with the latest mini CW bamboo box, warranty card and polishing cloth. No manual as it is an archive find, but there is a letter directing you to the online owner’s manual.
