SOLD - Navy Submariners' C60 Trident Pro 600 (2022)
Christopher Ward Submariners’ C60 Trident Pro 600 Mk3 42mm
May 2019 saw the arrival of the Mk3 C60 Trident - CW successfully managing to upgrade and improve on their already best-selling model. The watch for sale in this listing was also conceived in 2019, but unlike regular C60s, this one was only made available for purchase by Royal Navy Submariners via a secret page on the CW website - as is the case with almost all of CW’s bespoke special commissions.
This particular watch briefly slipped onto a public section of the CW website in July 2022 and was promptly bought by myself, so is a rare opportunity to buy a watch which rarely appears on the open market. It’s the third Submariners’ watch to be made by CW. The first was based on the C60 Mk1 Pro, the second was based on the C60 Mk2 300 quartz and this is the third one I’ve seen - it’s based on the C60 600 Pro Mk3 42mm and is by far the best one to date. I knew this was the first Submariners C60 to have an exhibition case back, but on reading the user manual, I can see it was actually the first ever C60 to feature a clear case back!
The transferable movement warranty is valid to July 2017.
