Christopher Ward C9 Harrison Chronograph Limited Edition

The C9 Harrison Chrono LE was launched in September 2010 at a cost of £800. It was CW’s flagship dress watch at the time - 250 black face models were made and 250 silvers. They were all sold out by March 2011, so this March 2011 piece is one of the last.

It uses the tried and trusted ETA 7750 Valjoux, as also found inside inside many premium watch brands such as Breitling, TAG Heuer, Panerai, Omega, IWC etc. The 5570 is probably the most commonly used automatic chrono on the planet. You’ll find it in the current £1,350 CW C65 Chrono.

They originally came with black or brown croc embossed leather straps. The original CW strap has been switched for an as new Hirsch Duke strap in blue which is worth around £40.

Condition
The Hirsch strap is like new. The watch head is now 12 years old, but looks more like a one-year-old watch. There are light blemishes and hairlines from occasional use, but nothing worthy of specific mention.

On the timegrapher it’s keeping near perfect time at approx +2.5sec per day - well worthy of COSC certification, had this been a COSC model.

Offered as a full set including box (the centre roll is startling to flake a bit), owner’s manual with Certificate of Authenticity, unused polishing cloth and original covering letter.
