Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600 Mk2 43mm

With the launch the C60 Mk2 in mid 2015 we saw the first CW to have a highly scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. In doing so, CW’s best-selling watch took a huge jump up in terms of quality and desirability.

You sometimes see Mk1 and Mk2 C60s referred to as 42mm. That’s because CW mistakenly quoted them as being 42mm in diameter in the earlier days, but they’re actually 43mm.

The watch for sale here is one of the original Mk2 C60 Trident Pro 600s and is my cheapest entry to automatic C60 ownership. You can tell it apart from the later Mk2s because it has the earlier (and some argue more desirable) ‘CHR. WARD’ logo rather than the later/current ‘Christopher Ward’ one.

Strap
It’s currently fitted with a new, high quality, black Borealis rubber strap.

If you’d prefer to switch to the optional as new black NATO strap shown in the last photo the price would be £425.

Condition
It’s in very good used condition. There are light marks dotted around the case, but nothing worth singling out.

The time-keeping is approx +9 sec per day, so comfortably inside the +/-20sec specified by CW.

The original box and papers are missing, so I don’t know the exact date of sale, but I do know this model was only sold between 2015 and 2017, so it’s going to be between six and eight years old. Supplied with a copy of the standard CW covering letter of the time and a CW travel pod - let’s face it, that’s a lot more useful than a big box that uses up space in your cupboard anyway!
