Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600 Mk3 GMT 42mm Black/Blue Batman Prototype

Introduction

May 2019 saw the arrival of the Mk3 C60 Trident - CW managing to upgrade and improve on their already best-selling model. The watch for sale in this listing is a Mk3, but not as we know it! It’s an original prototype featuring a black and blue “Batman” on the bezel and a blue GMT hand.

To the best of my knowledge it’s a complete one-off - I’ve never seen another in this colour. It’s is a such a fabulous piece, don’t know why it wasn’t ever commissioned.

Technically, this watch is the same as the regular 42mm C60 GMTs and has an automatic Sellita SW330 movement which gives 38 hours of power reserve.

Warranty

As a January 2021 watch, it comes with the balance of CW’s five year warranty, until January 2026.

Condition

It’s in superb, unmarked condition as it hasn’t been worn a great deal.

The bracelet is also in superb condition, with just a couple of light marks on the clasp. Comes with all spare links.

Supplied as a full set in the original bamboo case including owner’s book, warranty card and unused polishing cloth.

On the timegrapher it’s keeping time at approx. -1sec per day, which is comfortably inside COSC limits, despite it not being a COSC certified watch.
