Christopher Ward C60 Trident 300 Quartz 38mm
When the Mk1 C60 Trident hit the watch world in 2009, it was only available with an automatic movement. It wasn’t until 2015 and the arrival or the Mk2 Trident, that Christopher Ward introduced their first Quartz model, which they named the Trident 300, after its 300m water depth rating. The C60 300 is visually very similar to the Mk1 C60 Trident Pro, with just three visual clues: 1) It just says “Trident” on the face, not “Trident Pro” and 2) the second hand ticks instead of sweeps and 3) the crown is a bit bigger and chunkier than the Mk1. The Mk2 autos are far easier to identify: they have batons for hour markers instead of round pips and the bezels are ceramic.
This is a June 2017 watch, which makes it one of the last of the CHR. Ward logo models. I bought it brand new and it’s been worn less than five times since - by one of my sons who’s just worn it to a few weddings - the final pic shows the watch (on a bracelet) taken at one of the said weddings!
It’s just been back to CW to have a new battery installed (January 2021), so it should be good for the next four to five years without needing another change. The movement warranty is valid until June 2022.
CW retired the C60 300 quartz models between 2019 and 2020. When it was still available, the normal selling price was £450 for the bracelet model and £400 other straps.
Condition
It’s in like new condition apart from the very lightest of marks on the case back which I’m unable to photograph. It’s fitted with a new Maratac composite rubber strap. For an extra £90 I could switch that strap for an almost new CW stainless bracelet.
Supplied as a ‘full set’ including original box, covering letter, unused polishing cloth and handbook with Certificate of Authenticity.

User Manual
Christopher Ward don’t have the exact correct PDF manual available on the website, but they do have the Mk2.5 version available, which is the same technically, but slightly different cosmetically due to the logo change: https://www.christopherward.com/on/demandware.static/-/Library-Sites-cw-library/default/dw9569c4f7/pdfs/Dive/c60-trident-300-v2.pdf
