CHRISTOPHER WARD C5 MALVERN HANDWOUND
Introduction
Launched in April 2014, the C5 Malvern Slimline was Christopher Ward's thinnest manual watch at the time. Housed in a 40mm case with a height of 8.65mm, it uses the ETA 2801-2 manual winding movement (no date window) and featured a sapphire crystal case back showing off that movement.
This one is the next iteration - the square version and is an April 2017 watch. This watch is 37mm wide and only 8.25mm it took the mantle of thinnest CW watch at the time. The crown and bridge of the hand wound mechanical movement has been decorated with CW’s twin flags. You might not see it when you wear the watch, but you will know that it is there!
Warranty
It comes with a three month Ward Hoard warranty.
Strap:
It comes on a CW vintage oak leather strap in good, used condition.
If you’d rather it head only (discount of £25).
Condition
It’s in very good condition - no marks, scratches or dings of any note. I’ve bought from the original owner and he’s clearly looked after it very well.
On the timegrapher it’s registering approx. +9 sec per day, so well within spec.
Offered as a full set with box, owner’s book, covering letter certificate of authenticity and polishing cloth.
