Christopher Ward W6 Kingfisher Splash White

Introduction

The W6 Kingfisher Splash range consisted of some seven different colours: red, blue, orange, purple, white, green and pink. They all featured eye-catching mother of pearl dials with applied, polished hands and markers. With a 42mm case, these colourful quartz watches make great summer grab and go watches.

It was launched in mid 2009 and was retired in mid 2011. Over the last few years I’ve not seen many change hands so they’re pretty rare things.

Warranty

It comes with a three month Ward Hoard warranty as the CW warranty has expired.

Strap options

It comes on a used CW vintage oak leather strap. It’s certainly not pristine, but has plenty of life in it yet. If you would prefer it head only, a discount of £20, or a new CW hybrid strap, an extra £20. Or a good used CW bracelet, an extra £100.

Condition

It’s in very good condition for its age - there are a couple of marks as shown in the photos.

It comes in a later CW box without papers.

• I can’t capture the depth of the mother of pearl in the photos, it looks much better in real life!
