CHRISTOPHER WARD C65 TRIDENT CLASSIC MK2 ROUND TABLE EDITION
In 2014 Christopher Ward took the case they used for the C60 dive watch, binned the rotating bezel and made a dress version, which they named the C65 Trident Classic. The Mk1 version had a satin/brushed case, but the Mk2 version, which was introduced in 2016, has more polished areas and details making it a bit more eye-catching.
The watch for sale here is an original prototype (no serial number) for CW’s specially commissioned Round Table Edition. The C65 Classic Mk2 model was retired in November 2017, but this particular watch came to light during a brief sale of archive and prototype watches in January 2020 watch, so the movement warranty is valid until Jan 2025.
Condition
It’s in like new condition with no obvious signs of use. It’s fitted with a brand new Gekota leather strap.
On the Timegrapher it’s keeping time at approx. +9sec per day - so comfortably inside the +/-20seconds specified by CW.
Supplied as a full set including CW bamboo box, unused polishing cloth, warranty card and covering letter explaining it’s an historic model, so no hard copy user books were available.

Final notes
The first photo is a library shot. The rest all show the actual watch and package.
My little photographic cube has a dimpled foil lining which can make the polished sections look a bit pitted. Please be assured they’re reflections, not damage!
