Christopher Ward C11 Titanium Extreme 1000 Limited Edition Chronometer

Introduction

The C11 Extreme is the daddy of the C11 range: waterproof to 1000m, 1000 of them made and they were £1,000 when you could buy them!

It was available between 2014 and 2016 and was a great way for CW to say goodbye to the C11 range - going out with a 15mm tall bang! A watch of that height (thanks to its 4mm crystal and thicker case back - required to achieve that 1,000m dept rating) and with lime green markers is never going to be subtle, but thanks to its clean design and the Titanium sheen of the case, it’s still got class.

The three ‘crowns’ are actually a helium escape valve on the left, adjustment of internal rotating bezel on the top right and the watch crown is middle right.

It’s a Limited Edition of 1,000 and they’ve been off sale for over seven+ years now, so most have found their way to collectors - as the years have ticked by, there are less and less appearing for sale.

For sale here is a June 2016 watch.

Warranty

It comes with a Ward Hoard three month warranty.

Strap

It comes on the original black rubber strap in immaculate condition - it looks unworn.

Please ask if you would like an alternative CW strap (e.g. black hybrid) and I’ll find some options and price it up for you.

Condition

Simply amazing - it is a real safe queen this one, it has barely been worn. It is stunning condition - I've not seen a better one.

It’s a ‘full set’ including deluxe wooden case, polishing cloth, COSC certificate, covering letter and user book with Certificate of Authenticity. It's even got the original plastic protection for the box and the silica gel!

Running at +11spd, it's now outside COSC spec, but still pretty respectable.

Final Notes

  • The first seven photographs are library shots, the rest all show the actual watch and package.

  • Having followed CW for many years, I’ve observed a few of instances of crowns being pulled out/off of MSL versions. While I’ve not seen it on a Makaira, it’s still advised to take extra care when pulling the crown out to the time-adjusting position three. (note the crown on this watch feels perfect)
