Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600 Vintage Mk2 38mm

Introduction

With the launch the C60 Mk2 in mid 2015 we saw several firsts. It was the first CW to have a (highly scratch resistant) ceramic bezel and it was also the first C60 to be available in a ‘vintage’ style, with the gloss black bezel being switched for matte, the hands/hour batons receiving a creamy finish (instead of the usual white) and finally the leather straps getting the vintage finishing treatment.

The C60 Vintage models proved to be pretty popular, paving the way for a new line of C65 Trident Classic Vintage and C65 Trident Vintage Mk2 models.

The watch we have for sale is the original Mk2 C60 Vintage, before it was updated by CW in 2017 to feature the new (current) CW logo at 9 o’clock on the face. When they were available from CW, the selling price was £640 on leather, or £750 on a bracelet.

Warranty

As a January 2017 watch, the CW warranty has now expired so it comes with a Ward Hoard three month warranty.

Strap

It comes on a CW black hybrid strap (included in the price). If you would prefer a Tide, no cost difference; if you would prefer it head only, then the cost would go down by £40.

Condition

It is in pretty good condition for its age save that it does a small chip on the crystal, as shown in the photos. It isn’t really noticeable in normal use.

As you can see from the timegrapher photograph, it’s keeping good time, around -5 spd.

It comes complete with the original box, and includes the owner’s handbook and certificate of authenticity and unused polishing cloth.
