Introduction
Christopher Ward has a long history of making aviation-inspired watches, starting with 2006’s C5 Malvern Aviator, which was based on CW’s first ever watch, the C5 Malvern. Their next aviator was… the C8, which was first introduced in 2008 and was retired, when the last few C8 Power Reserves were sold in early 2021.
The watch for sale here is where the C8 all began: the Pilot Mk1.
Warranty
As it has just been serviced it comes with a CW warranty to December 2025.
Strap
Fitted with a brand new CW black vintage oak leather strap.
Other options - head only, discount of £40. Or other straps, please ask and I’ll give you some options.
Condition
It’s not in bad condition for a watch that’s around fifteen years old. It’s clearly been worn and enjoyed with commensurate marks on the bezel and lugs - please see photos.
Timing is currently uncertain but will be in spec as it will be regulated as part of its service.
It comes in a new style CW mini bamboo box with unused polishing cloth.
