WH479 C60 Trident Pro Automatic Mk1 black (11/2012) JUST SERVICED
Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro Automatic Mk1.5 43mm
Introduction
The Mk1 C60 Trident hit the watch world in 2009. It was available in a Henry Ford style ‘any colour you want, as long as it’s black’. The initial price of just £300 was a ridiculous bargain and the watch was an instant hit.
Fast forward to 2012, CW introduced the CHR. WARD logo (replacing the original round CW icon) and also added orange/black, red/red, green/green, charcoal/black, khaki/black and the blue/blue models. I call these the Mk1.5 models as they’re essentially Mk1s, but with the new logo and new colours. .
This particular watch came from its original owner and is a fabulous example.
Warranty
It has just been serviced by CW so comes with a CW warranty until November 2025.
Strap
It comes on a very lightly used CW black tropic. Other options:
a) Head only - discount of £30
b) Exchange for brand new CW hybrid or vintage oak leather - extra £15
c) Exchange for a good, used bracelet - extra £80 for a non-ratchet bracelet or extra £100 for a ratchet bracelet.
Condition
The watch head is in very good, used condition.
These Mk1/Mk1.5 models feature applied aluminium bezel inserts which are fairly easily marked compared to the ceramic Mk2/Mk3 cousins, but this one is excellent.
The rest of the case is in very good used condition with various light marks including some scratches on one of the lugs. A great classic CW at a great price.
Keeping superb time at +2 spd.
Provided in a new style box with covering letter, service history, cleaning cloth and manual with certificate of authenticity.
