Christopher Ward C65 Dartmouth Series 1 (41mm)

Introduction

The ‘public’ military models started with a batch of C65s in 2019. They were this Dartmouth (named after the Royal Naval School) and available in blue and black, the Cranwell (named after the RAF College) and the Sandhurst (named after the The Royal Military Academy where army officers are trained).

In August 2020 CW added a fourth military model, the Lympstone. And in 2021 the Colchester joined the party (developed for and in conjunction with the British Army's Parachute Regiment).

Warranty

It comes with a transferable CW warranty to June 2025, and probably a balance of a three month Ward Hoard warranty at time of sale given it is expected to be back in April 2025.

Condition

Very good used condition.

When tested on the timegrapher, its timekeeping was outside of spec. It’s gone back to CW to be regulated so likely to be available April 2025.

Comes in the original CW bamboo case with owner’s manual, polishing cloth, warranty booklet and card. No COSC certificate.

Strap options

It is fitted with a lightly used CW tan vintage oak leather strap.

Priced with the strap other options are:

• Exchange for another brand new strap (hybrid, tide, canvas, tropic or leather - please ask and I’ll dig out some options, it goes with so many straps this watch!) - extra £15

• Exchange for bracelet (subject to availability) - extra £130

• Without a strap: discount of £30.
